foliQ® B Borowy
Liquid foliar fertiliser with a high boron content
FoliQ® B Borowy is a liquid foliar fertiliser with a high content of assimilable boron (ethanolamine borate). The transport of this element in a plant is very ineffective, so its regular supply is crucial for normal growth and development.
The use of foliQ® B Borowy throughout the growth season supports the root system development, and improves plant resistance to lodging, diseases, and low temperatures. It also contributes to intense flowering, an increase in the weight of thousand seeds, the improvement in tolerance to heart rot in beet, and the increase in sugar content. In winter crops, it improves frost resistance. It strengthens the structure of cell walls and improves pollen viability.

Micronutrient fertilisers foliQ®
The micronutrient fertilisers foliQ® category includes high quality foliar fertilisers, which supply essential micronutrients to crop plants. These products were developed for effective fertilisation, regeneration, and boosting of resistance to environmental stressors in plants. In consequence, crops can better cope with difficult weather conditions, and farmers and horticulturists achieve higher yields of better quality. This solution was developed for demanding users who want to precisely support the health of their plants.
Mineral fertilisation of plants
Mineral fertilisation of plants is a foundation for their normal growth and development. Plants use nutrients taken from the soil and water for crucial metabolic processes, such as photosynthesis and building of cell wall structures. However, in many cases the soil can be deficient in essential nutrients, and this leads to deficiencies that inhibit normal plant growth. In those situations, the use of micronutrient fertilisers is necessary, to provide plants with all required nutrients and support their robust development.
The quality of micronutrient fertiliser foliQ® – the guarantee of effectiveness
FoliQ® foliar fertilisers with micronutrients are distinguished by their highest quality. They are manufactured at a production plant which uses the cutting-edge technologies, ensuring excellent quality, solubility, stability, and assimilation. With these properties, these fertilisers are an irreplaceable support in precise fertilisation in crops plant. Micronutrient fertilisers foliQ® support plants at crucial stages in their development, and this is essential for their growth.
What does set foliQ® fertilisers apart?
- Precisely developed composition – they contain micronutrients in easily assimilable forms, such as EDTA chelates or lignosulphonates.
- Safety of use – these fertilisers are free of heavy metals, and this guarantees safety to crops and the environment.
- Compatibility – foliQ® products can be mixed with other formulations, e.g. plant protection agents, and this facilitates their inclusion in comprehensive fertilisation programmes.
Additionally, innovative formulations such as wetting and anti-evaporation agents, improve the effectiveness of foliar treatments. The even coating of leaves minimises nutrient losses and maximises their effect.
Why you should use micronutrient fertilisers, including boron, copper, and zinc?
Micronutrients, such as boron, copper, manganese or zinc, are essential for normal plant development, although demand for them is relatively small in terms of their quantity. They play an important role in processes of photosynthesis, hormonal regulation, and functioning of natural defence mechanisms in plants. Their deficiency leads to poor growth, reduced resistance to disease, and decreased yield quality. Molybdenum deficiency results in apical meristem necrosis, and deformation and chlorosis of young leaves, as well as to problems with pollen production, and development of root nodules in legumes. The regular use of micronutrient fertilisers in cases of boron, copper, and zinc deficiencies prevents these problems, ensuring normal development and effective use of yield potential.
Foliar fertilisation with foliQ® fertilisers – effectiveness and precision
Foliar fertilisation is one of the most effective ways to supply micronutrients to plants. Direct absorption of nutrients through leaves ensures that plants quickly supplement deficiencies, and this is crucial at times of intense growth, such as flowering or fruit setting.
Benefits of foliar fertilisation with foliQ®:
- Quick plant reaction – an ideal solution for periods of environment stresses, e.g. drought or ground frosts.
- Improvement in assimilation of macronutrients – such as nitrogen or phosphorus, through synergy with micronutrients.
- Support of plant regeneration – especially after damage caused by adverse weather conditions.
High solubility of foliar fertilisers foliQ® ensures easy preparation of the working solution and effective treatments.
How do foliar fertilisers foliQ® support plant resistance to diseases?
The use of foliQ® fertilisers strengthens the plant defence system and improves their health, so they are less susceptible to infections. The precise supply of micronutrients supports metabolic processes and tissue regeneration, minimising the risk of diseases caused by their deficiencies. Micronutrient deficiencies may lead to chlorosis in older leaves, weakening the plant health.
How to apply micronutrient fertilisers foliQ®?
The use of micronutrient fertilisers foliQ® requires observance of several key rules, to ensure their maximum effectiveness. First of all, carefully read manufacturer’s instructions concerning dosing and application methods. The best results are obtained when fertilisers are applied at moderate temperatures, preferably in the morning or in the evening, to minimise the risk of nutrient evaporation from the leaf surface. Avoid application during strong wind or rain that can wash the fertiliser off the leaves. Choosing the right micronutrient fertiliser.
The fertiliser should be chosen according to the needs of a given crop and the results of the soil analysis. Pay attention to fertiliser ingredients, the chemical form of micronutrients and their compatibility with other formulations used in agriculture. FoliQ® products offer an extensive choice of foliar fertilisers, that can be used both alone and as a component of comprehensive fertilising programmes.
FoliQ® offers both one-component (interventional), and multi-component (preventive) products, such as FoliQ MikroMix, developed for comprehensive supplementation of deficiencies.
